Friends,
We have been on an incredible journey. Since we began our campaign in early April, we have been seen by more than two million pairs of eyeballs, shared hundreds upon hundreds of times across Alberta, featured proud Canadians and highlighted campaigns both large and small.
It has been a fantastic effort.
However, our team has something to share with you.
At the beginning there were zero Third Party Advertisers registered for the Stay team.
Now there are five.
In a moment where we sought leaders and campaigns to stand up, those leaders from across the political spectrum and in every community have stood up to oppose separatism and blowing up our country.
Our committee has reviewed our stated goal: of uplifting leaders and their communities, sharing their words… and found that these leaders are now loudly being heard across Alberta. In light of this we are choosing to bring our various team members into those organizations and teams, and deregistering with Elections Alberta.
Now our campaign asks the following of you:
- Vote. Vote like Canada depends on it, because it does. Vote against the awful nine as well.
- Engage. Pick a campaign, back it and mobilize your friends, family, colleagues and neighbours to vote.
- Never stop. Continue your involvement well after this election, as your inclusion makes our shared civic life so much brighter.
Our campaign site lists the campaigns on our website. We encourage you to take a look, and pick your preferred person, platform or party. Or all of them. But make a choice, have your voice heard and stand for a better country for all of our fellow citizens.
